Thomas Bunke - Head of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting DACH as well as Head of HR Services EMEA of REHAU AG + Co - is a very flexible and agile personnel manager with extensive experience in the areas of personnel support, personnel development and recruiting. Moreover, he has high affinity to break new ground and to conclude topics with unconventional solutions.
After finishing an apprenticeship as banker and some years of work experience, Thomas pass his diploma as Business economist. In September 2002 he joined REHAU for the first time as HR Consultant with operational responsibility for all personnel-relevant topics at locations in Rehau and Erlangen. In 2006 he became Manager of Corporate HR und extended his area of responsibility to strategic topics. Head of HR Services Germany followed this function in 2011 and Head of HR Services EMEA in 2014. Since then, he has been strategically responsible for all personnel-relevant topics in areas that are not divisionally assigned, e.g. Purchasing, Human Resources, Strategic Engineering, Finance, etc. This includes approximately 2,200 employees in almost all EMEA countries as well as operational responsibility for 1,000 employees in Germany in all human resources issues, except payroll.
In his further function as a Head of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting DACH, he is also responsible for the establishment of a functional recruiting center for Germany (D), Austria (A) and Switzerland (CH) and the development of a sustainable employer branding for REHAU, with focus on German-speaking countries as well as a concept for the roll-out in Europe.
