Jonathan Krim was recently named Technology Editor and San Francisco Bureau Chief of the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones. In that capacity, he oversees worldwide technology coverage for the news organizations. A veteran of print and online journalism for more than 35 years, Jonathan spent nearly 20 years in Silicon Valley in several senior editing positions at the San Jose Mercury News, including at various times serving as editor of local, international, business and technology news. He directed two Pulitzer Prize winning projects during this period. He joined the Washington Post in 2001, first as a technology writer and later as a digital editor. He joined the Wall Street Journal in 2010 as Deputy Managing Editor of the Journal’s web site, and subsequently became editor of Dow Jones-owned MarketWatch.com, a leading financial news and advice site. A native of New York City, he attended Vassar College and then graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in journalism.
