Jean-Claude Biver is often cited as a visionary businessman, marketing genius and man of commitment. Back in the 1980s, he revived the Blancpain brand, re-establishing it as a leading luxury watchmaker. He then breathed new life into Omega, associating the brand with James Bond and Cindy Crawford. Most recently, in 2004 he took over the reins at Hublot, overseeing a tenfold increase in turnover in just five years. His commitment saw him donate the brand's advertising boards to Unite Against Racism during the Euro 08 finals.
