Victor Halberstadt

Victor Halberstadt is Professor of Economics at Leiden University, The Netherlands.

He serves on various corporate Boards; the International Advisors Group of Goldman Sachs; the Board of Overseers of Koç University; the Governing Board of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore; the Faculty of the World Economic Forum.

Previously Mr. Halberstadt was a.o. President of the International Institute of Public Finance (1987-90); Crown-Member of the Social-Economic Council of The Netherlands (1972-2004); Honorary Secretary General of Bilderberg Meetings (1980-2000); Chairman of the DaimlerChrysler International Advisory Board (1995-2005) and Chairman of the Johannes Vermeer Award (2008-2011).
