Richard Kang

Richard Kang is Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development for MTV Networks, a division of Viacom Inc. Kang spearheads the development and articulation of MTVN's overarching corporate strategies and drives large-scale growth opportunities on a global basis. Prior to MTVN, Kang served as SVP, Strategy and Business Development at IAC/InterActiveCorp. Previously, Kang founded and served as Managing Director at The Confluence Group. Kang was also an investment banker at Wasserstein Perella & Co. Kang is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations as well as the Asia Society. He received his M.A. from Harvard University in Economics and his B.A. in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
