Jean-Paul Schmetz

Jean-Paul is the founder and CEO of 10betterpages GmbH. He also serves as an advisor to the management of Hubert Burda Media - a global media company.

Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of TomorrowFocus AG (a leading diversified online company in Germany), of DoganBurda Dergi (the largest magazine publisher in Turkey), of DPP (the largest magazine distributor in Turkey), Design House ltd. (a magazine publisher in South-Korea), OPMS (a performance marketing service company in South Korea) and DDH (an online company in South Korea) and a director at Hackfwd.

He was the CTO and CEO of Burda Digital from 1996 to 2003.

Jean-Paul received a Master's Degree in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from the University of Louvain (Belgium) and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Louvain.

Jean-Paul is fluent in French, English, German and Dutch. Jean-Paul is an avid mathematician, hardware hacker and is fluent with all the latest software technologies.
