Helmut Becker

Dr. Helmut Becker (40) is the Chief Commercial Officer at XING AG since September 2009. In this capacity he is responsible for Marketing, Sales and Revenue Lines at the company. Before taking up this position at XING AG, Dr. Helmut Becker was Senior Director Advertising and Marketing at eBay Deutschland and, prior to this, Managing Director of eBay Advertising AG.

Before holding these posts he was Managing Director of the eBay subsidiary Shopping.com Germany and Strategy Director and Corporate Development at eBay. He began his career as a consultant at McKinsey. Dr. Helmut Becker studied Physics at the University of Hamburg and the University of Cambridge, where he gained his PhD. He is married and has a daughter.
