Darshan Shankar

Darshan Shankar is the CEO and Founder of Flotype. Flotype builds Bridge, a technology that enables real-time communication between any server, any device, and any language. It simplifies the development of cloud and mobile architectures.

Prior to founding Flotype, Darshan worked at CardMunch, which was acquired by LinkedIn in 2010. Darshan was responsible for engineering at CardMunch, where he developed the iPhone application, server technology, and design.

A long-time resident of Berkeley, California, Darshan majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of California- Berkeley. Darshan is passionate about design, cloud computing, and growing Flotype. In his free time, Darshan continues to pursue his love of sushi, photography, and programming.
