Lisa Haydon
Lisa was born to an Indian father and an Australian mother, in India. She has lived in Australia and the USA. She returned to India at the age of 21.
As a model Lisa became an overnight success in India. She has walked the ramp for internationally known designers like Christopher Kane, Manish Arora (creative director PacoRabanne), Tarun Tahiliani and Sabyasachi. She has been featured on the cover of most of the top fashion magazines in India including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Grazia, Verve and L’Officiel. Lisa, is the only Indian model to appear on the cover of Times Magazine, London and Harper’s Bazaar India Edition.
Lisa was the face of Lakme Color Cosmetics (India’s no.1 skin care and cosmetics company). She is currently the face of Blender’s Pride, Garden and Gillette in India. As a model Lisa has been recognized for her impeccable style and persona making her the obvious choice for almost all the fashion awards of India. She has been awarded DNA most stylish woman of the year, Cosmopolitan Fun and Fearless best model of the year, Marie Claire best model of the year amongst others. She has been a guest writer/ contributor in several fashion magazines such as Vogue, Verve and L’Officiel, giving her views on trends and styles.
As a Bollywood actress Lisa made her debut in ‘Aisha’ (2010) a fashion forward film based on ‘Emma’ by Jane Austen. Her latest release is an out and out Bollywood comedy called ‘Rascals’ (2011).
Her impeccable style and eye for fashion has made Lisa a style icon in India.
