Itay Talgam

Itay Talgam has conducted some of the world's best ensembles, studying with and assisting some of the world's greatest conductors, including Leonard Bernstein and Claudio Abbado.

A native of Israel, he studied music in Jerusalem (and Philosophy in the Hebrew University), Siena, and Tanglewood. Itay's main interests lie both in contemporary music and in promoting classical music through developing his own innovative approach to the understanding of music-making as a metaphor for social and professional processes.
