Over 80 friends came out and joined the 'morning party' in the Big Apple. Despite the early hours, creativity and inspiring conversations were abundant at the DLD breakfast club. DLD Co-Founders Steffi Czerny and Marcel Reichart hosted the event (11/29/2011) and invited the New York community to this 'breakfast for champions' together with DLD Co-Chair and serial investor Yossi Vardi. Amongst the guests were Paola Antonelli, Deborah Berebichez. Matthew Bishop, John Brockman, Leonie Casanova, Sandy Climan, Tim Draper, Esther Dyson, Helen Fisher, Claudia Gonzalez, Jack Hidary, Daniel Kahneman, Angela Kyle, Max Levchin, Todd Levy, Gishlain Maxwell, Felix Petersen, Jeff Pulver, Lisa Randell, Andrew Robertson, Jeffrey Rosen, Artur O. Sulzberger Jr, Baratunde Thurston, Ed Young, and Richard Saul Wurman. The General Assembly – itself a physical manifestation of innovation and start-up culture - was the ideal location for this gathering of thinkers, digital entrepreneurs and change-makers. Calling it a 'morning party', Esther Dyson said; 'DLD really collected the coolest bunch of people ever to get together in New York.'
