The tech industry is still male dominated, and this holds particularly true for the boardrooms. On stage, a group of top-level female entrepreneurs and managers share their insights into why gender equality is important not just for the individuals, but also for their employers. For the next year, the panelists hope that a separate panel for women won't be necessary as more women will be on all the other panels, too. But for now, we recommend you read the full discussion below.

Not all content is created equal: What customers want to consume on a website or on a mobile device depends strongly on where they are, and on the context they're moving in at any given time. Taking this into account can take product development and content distribution to a whole new level. How can we give customers free choice about where and how to get the content they are interested in? Here are some proposals by industry heavyweights.
Join us for a massive, top-notch panel on user experiences featuring Nick Bilton (New York Times), Carlos Bhola (kikin), Tom Glocer (Thomson Reuters), Dave Moore (24/7 Media) and Tero Ojanpera (Nokia). The pNick Biltonanel is moderated by David Kirkpatrick ("The Facebook Effect").

Al Seckel's research focuses on perception. The fascinating thing about perception? It's hard to change - even it you know you're being fooled you can't help it. Al took the audience through a tour de force of different examples how perception can be fooled - even if you actually know that what you're seeing or hearing isn't really there. Context is very important for the way we perceive information and making decisions.
