About DLD11

The next DLD (Digital - Life - Design) Conference will be taking place for the seventh time in Munich from 23 to 25 January 2011, followed by a DLD Nightcap at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 26. "Update Your Reality" will be DLD's theme in 2011.

With 40 panels and keynotes, speakers will discuss the effects of digitization on society, culture, the economy, and life. Invited are about 800 creatives and masterminds from media, society, technology and art. On Sunday afternoon Maria Furtwängler will honour a creative and successful businesswoman and award her with the annual Aenne Burda Award for Creative Leadership.

DLD cooperates with numerous innovative companies like Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, HP, Ernst & Young, Sky, Telefonica O2, Lufthansa, Booz &Co and Deutsche Telekom.

Chairmen of DLD Tel Aviv Festival are Hubert Burda, owner of Hubert Burda Media and art historian, and Yossi Vardi, serial digital investor. DLD has been founded by Stephanie Czerny and Marcel Reichart in 2005 as a global community for digital innovation and beyond. Over the year, the DLD community meets in various styles and formats around the globe, such as the annual DLD Conference in January, DLDwomen or DLD Dinners and Events in Palo Alto, London, Moscow or New York.
