Dorothee Ritz

Dr. Dorothee Ritz became General Manager Consumer & Online Germany (C&O) at Microsoft Germany in July 2008, especially concentrating on the new software-generation "Windows 7" and the direct end-consumer-business. She is also member of the executive board of the Microsoft Germany GmbH and has previously worked as Director Online Service Group Germany.

Before joining Microsoft, she worked for the media house Bertelsmann AG, as well as AOL Europe and AOL Australia. After leaving Bertelsmann, she was founding member of Xchanging Germany, a company specialised on the outsourcing of back-office-processes in the UK and Germany. Dorothee is accomplished lawyer, with promotion in online criminal law.
