Strong personal brands add value to corporate ones. Find your own personal branding. Be a strong leader! But how to be strong and what is the best way for a personal self-promotion?

Be authentic but suited to the occasion. You are what you wear, it reflexes what you want to be. Be an expert in something and ask yourself if it is relevant for others. What makes you remarkable? Stay focused, focused and more focused. Just being good is not enough. Be YOUnique. So take a look on what characteristics you define. Polarization is very important. Successful people catch up attention and polarize. The difference between women and men is, that women have a worse and men a more positive self-picture. So women are very open for feedback.

Work with the SWOT analysis, which is a structured planning method used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats involved in a business venture. Define your audience. What platforms do they use? Where do they hang out? Which channels work together? Which type of conversation occurs on each channel? What is the most popular content?

Some interesting statistics by the way: 86% of internet enjoyers use searching machines. 42% conduct research before buying something. 45% declined a deal as a result of research informations. 50% of companies decline what they found on internet. 43% of people search infos for a date. 48% decide to cancel the date after research.

Effective branding makes people come to you. It´s your responsibility to manage the brand! The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has to fit in public relations. Make a Goal control of minimum the top ten in Google, better the top twenty. Have a visible profile. Let every network show a different side of you. A professional photo combined with a good vita is a must have. It´s feasible but very important, to get the domain yourname.com.

Skill plus character times continuity. So never stop! Figure out the goals of your campaign and then benchmark the pr efforts against it. Have someone by the hand to make statements for your articles. Make a quote and send it to the press. After news jacking, journalists will scramble for additional information’s. Public excitements will grow onto the peak. Define your brand and your audience. Research also reflects the view on you. The rules for men and women are the same. Skills, character and continuity.
