The 3rd edition of DLDwomen will be held in July 2012. DLDwomen sheds light on the "Female Decade" and its "womenomics" and puts focus on future developments in technology, digitization, markets and society.

The upcoming DLD12 Conference is held January 22-24, 2012 in Munich, followed by a DLD Nightcap at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 25. Chairmen of DLD12 are Hubert Burda, owner of Hubert Burda Media and Yossi Vardi

DLD Breakfast Club New York
Over 80 friends came out and joined the 'morning party' in the Big Apple. Despite the early hours, creativity and inspiring conversations were abundant at the DLD breakfast club. DLD Co-Founders Steffi Czerny and Marcel Reichart hosted the event (11/29/2011) and invited the New York community to this 'breakfast for champions' together with DLD Co-Chair and serial investor Yossi Vardi.

The DLD Tel Aviv Festival (#dldtelaviv) was held for the first time at Jaffa Port, 30.10 - 3.11.2011. Around 800 participants and 50 speakers followed the invitation to Tel Aviv. Within the festival's cosmos additional events were hosted by companies such as Google, Amazon or Facebook. The event was chaired by Israeli high-tech entrepreneur Yossi Vardi and publisher Hubert Burda.

Together with Hans Ulrich Obrist and Julia Peyton-Jones, DLD hosted the Garden Marathon Brunch in London at the Serpentine Gallery Marquee on Saturday, 15 October 2011. The Serpentine Gallery Garden Marathon is the sixth in the Gallery’s acclaimed Marathon series. This two-day event was an exploration of the concept of the garden. A product of the creative encounter between the man-made and the natural, between order and disorder, the garden can offer productive metaphors for the interactions between human life and time, care, thought or space. The event is directly inspired by the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2011, designed by Peter Zumthor.

The second edition of DLDwomen was being held at the Bavarian National Museum in Munich from 29 to 30 June, 2011. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Maria Furtwängler-Burda, invited guests gathered to discuss the issues of leadership, women’s consumer behaviour and the influence of digital technologies on work, education and medicine. Theme of this year's conference was Innovation & Authenticity.

DLD11 was all about new realities. Its theme "Update Your Reality" referred to the impact of digital technology for business, society and the individual. Being digital is no longer a vision but a complex reality factor. In this context, the term "update" is an important behavioral pattern. More than 150 international speakers and 800 selected participants discussed a broad range of topics and updated their own reality.

DLD global connected the unexpected and built a bridge to Beijing. The DLD Global Reception took place within the 798 Art District at famous UCCA in Beijing on Sunday, 12 September 2010. The entire event was lifted by the great spirit of the DLD global community and the discussion roundtable on "China - the new innovation superpower and how to bridge it to other regions" sparked a lively discussion.
DLDwomen '10
DLDwomen was being held for the first time in June 2010 in Munich. The event which focuses on female markets was a two days conference experience bringing together an extraordinary group of over 70 international high profile speakers and 500 opinion-forming participants, both women and men, from the fields of digital, business, design, media, society, health, politics and science.
DLD10
"Map your Future" was the motto of DLD10 Conference which was being held in January 2010 for the sixth time. The conference aimed to cast a new look at markets and society after two years of the crisis. Participants and speakers from more than 30 different countries discussed how digitality is radically changing markets, what impact it has on society and people. Key topics included: what new successful content business models look like, how search engines, social networks and real-time communication affect marketing and corporate strategies, and where investors see market opportunities and risks.
