Spotify's International Expansion

Spotify chief executive and DLD 2009 speaker Daniel Ek commented the much-anticipated, much-delayed U.S. launch of Spotify. In an interview with Billboard's Glenn Peoples, Daniel said the company is having extensive conversations with artists and managers as well as labels in order to build a platform that delivers multifold music services: a way to follow an artist on Facebook or Twitter, find live shows and buy downloads, merchandise as well as music in physical form.
