  1. Panel on Data and Identity

    data and identity

Data and identity are challenged online as major paradigm shifts take place: We see a shift in how privacy is perceived - is content by default private or public? Reputation can no longer be controlled anymore. The amount of content shared online (and having to be managed) grows at incredible rates. To give users granular control over what they want to share on the web, and to make this simple, too, is a huge challenge. And now with location-based services it gets even more complex...

To kick off day 2 of DLD10, we'll be talking about data and identity on the web. Join us for a great panel with some of the heavyweights in the field. First up: Mike Schroepfer of Facebook. Later in the discussion, the others join in: Magid Abraham (Comscore), Todd Levy (Bit.ly), Dave Morgan (Simulmedia), Philipp Pieper (Proximic). The panel will be moderated by David Kirkpatrick ("The Facebook Effect").
