  1. Claudia Gonzalez from The Global Fund on 'Re-Brand'

Claudia Gonzales is now the Head of Marketing at The Global Fund. Before that she was leading Public Relations and Special Projects for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Her message was clear and very optimistic: Technology and Social Media is transforming the way how we as a global society are enabled to help.

There are various examples how technology already helped people to spread their message: People from refugee camps around the world told their stories in video messages, we can now actually see those refugee camps with the help of tools like Google Earth or let alone the fact that twitter has given us the power to report fast from places and people in need.

Claudia finished with a very promising vision for the future: technology just started out to help organizations and people in helping. There are already millions of people who engage in cases on Facebook or are following those projects on twitter. And numbers do count in this area, because they are important for communication. But it's only the beginning of the transformation and there is a lot more to come.

    Let's hope she is right!
