  1. Update on the photo session

    Tags: ·   -  1 comment

On Sunday attendees where introduced to the idea that artist Jürgen Scriba will use a kind of hidden camera to take a lot of pictures during the event in order to make one great collage.

"There are all kind of people there, doing marketing for their products, some people are more happy than other people - it is good they all have badges so you can find out who that was."

Jokingly he said four members put in "150 hours of 'photoshop slave labour' powered by chocolate cookies." to make everything happen. The short presentation on the screen already looked intruiging, and once we do have the photographs to give you an example, we will update you with them!

Weird, you would call this a "hidden camera". After all I had a 3-meter-high banner hanging underneath it with arrows point upwards and rather large letters saying "Look, you are in the picture." At times we also had Werner standing up there waving wildly in the vain hope of attracting attention.
It's pretty interesting though, seeing how differently people adapted to the situation. In the final picture you see puzzled victims as well as performers playing air guitar for the camera. We are currently trying to generate the final resolution of the picture (even saving the Photoshop file takes about four hours). Hopefully it will be online next week or so.

Greetings
Jurgen
