R.J. Friedlander

R.J. Friedlander (USA) is the Managing Director of Digital Media for Grupo Planeta, one of the largest media and editorial groups in Spain. He is responsible for the group's assets and investments in digital media, e-commerce and mobile content. In addition, R.J. leads the development of new strategic initiatives in these areas. During his tenure, Grupo Planeta has grown to become one of Spain's most active media groups in the digital space.

With more than 15 years of experience in technology and Internet, R.J. has a strong background as both an operating executive and entrepreneur. In addition to working for nearly a decade with Grupo Planeta in Barcelona, RJ has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles and Portland.
