In 2005, GE launched its business strategy ecomagination. Ecomagination is GE's initiative to help meet customers' needs for more energy-efficient products and to drive growth for the company. A key element of ecomagination is GE's commitment to reduce its water consumption, its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve its own energy efficiency.
