Last week, the Chanel Mobile Art project opened in Central Park's Rumsey Playfield, New York celebrating the 50th anniversary of the company's iconic 2.55 quilted bag. Conceived as a collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, the futuristic pavilion is travelling around the globe with previous exhibitions in Tokyo and Hong Kong. 20 international artists showcase contemporary works inspired by the elements that give Chanel's emblematic bag its identity.
