Yat Siu
Yat began his technology career in 1990 at Atari Germany. He then moved on to Director and Head of East Coast Operations for Lexicor.
In 1996, Yat moved to Hong Kong and established Hong Kong Cybercity, and in 1997, Yat joined AT&T Solutions' System Integration practice. A year later, Yat left to set up Outblaze, which provides white label Messaging, Collaboration, and Social Media services to over 76 million users, making it one of the largest hosted services providers in the world.
Yat is also the Fonero Leader for the region, leading efforts to grow the FON WiFi community and running FON's Hong Kong operations.
Yat holds a music degree from the Musik Konservatorium Wien. He has received the Standard Chartered Platinum Achievers Award and the 2006 Piaget Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship, amongst others. His work at Outblaze has earned the Company numerous awards, including an IT Excellence Gold Award and two Linux Business Awards.
Yat was named a Young Global Leader for 2006. He is a supporter of various NGO and charity organizations, such the Asian Youth Orchestra, the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and others.
