Christiane zu Salm

Christiane zu Salm is founder and CEO of About Change Ventures (ACV). ACV is an independent private equity fund which was founded in spring 2007. ACV offers growth capital for media content, internet, telecom and advertising companies. ACV focuses on later stage investments on a global basis. The fund was closed in October 2007 and has a volume of over €100 million.

Christiane zu Salm was formerly the CEO of Euvia Media AG (2001-2005), under which she founded the two TV channels 9Live and sonnenklar TV and has turned the loss-making channel tm3 into the interactive quiz channel 9Live and led the company to profitability within just a few years.

Prior to joining Euvia Media AG, Christiane zu Salm was Managing Director of MTV Central Europe (1998-2001). Her success at the music channel earned her the 'Echo' music award for 'Media Woman 2001'.

As of April 2008, Christiane zu Salm will join the executive management board of Hubert Burda Media.
