Hartmut Esslinger
Hartmut Esslinger is the founder of frog design, one of the world's leading strategic-creative consulting firms, and according to BusinessWeek the first superstar of high-tech design.
In 1969, Esslinger founded frog design in his native Germany and sparked a design revolution with his unique emotional and cultural style. His work has defined the modern consumer aesthetic with such revolutionary products as Sony's original Trinitron television, the Apple Macintosh, and Lufthansa's brand and fleet image. In 1994, Esslinger's company brought its industrial design prowess also to the world of digital media, creating and implementing convergent user experiences across hardware and software.
Today, frog design is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with seven studios worldwide and a multi-disciplinary team of more than 325 employees. Frog's client list includes Acer, Acura/Honda, Adidas, AT&T, CitiCorp, Dell, Disney, GE, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Kodak, Louis Vuitton, Microsoft, Motorola, MTV, NEC, SAP, Siemens, Sun Microsystems, Swatch, Virgin Records, Yahoo!, Yamaha, and Zeiss -- to name only a few.
Hartmut Esslinger has an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from the Parsons School of Design, University of New York, and he is Founding Professor of the University for Design in Karlsruhe, Germany, Professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and an Honorary Member of the Design Academy of Mexico. Esslinger also serves as an advisor for SSTEC - Shanghai Centre for Scientific and Technological Exchange with Foreign Countries. In 1992 Esslinger received the Raymond Loewy Lifetime Achievement Award. Esslinger's work has been lauded internationally and is part of the design collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Smithsonian Institute, and Neue Sammlung, Munich.

frog design is and was always an orientation for me. Since the early 80 HE gave his handwriting to many products like Apple Macintiosh or Yamaha motorcycles. It would be nice to meet him
