Daniel Mattes

In late 2004, Daniel teamed up with Roman Scharf to form JAJAH. At the company, Daniel is responsible for developing the proprietary core technology of JAJAH.

Daniel Mattes started programming software at an early age on a computer given to him as a present. He studied Computer Science & Economics at the Technical University of Linz (Austria) and did his post-graduate work in IT Management at the Danube University of Krems (Austria).

After working as management consultant for BP Oil and Hewlett Packard, he started his first company, auftrag.at, an online public tendering solution, which received the Austrian Federal Award of Excellence.

Later, Daniel invested as Business Angel in Technik Design (Austria), a media technology company where he later joined the Board. The company was acquired within two years of Daniel's participation by Kraftwerk, a subsidiary of Constantin Films (Liechtenstein).

Daniel then developed a state-of-the-art videoconferencing solution with his next venture, Qubus. In early 2004, the company was successfully acquired by Global Connexion (Netherlands), a spin-off of Ericsson. In 2004 Daniel started to concentrate on developing the proprietary core technology of Jajah.
