Arend Oetker
Dr. Arend Oetker is Chairman of the Board of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, Essen, which is the joint initiative of the Geman industry to promote science. He is also Chairman of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), Berlin, Vice-Chairman of the Federation of German Industries, Berlin and Member of the Presidial Board of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations, Berlin.
Dr. Oetker is the Chairman of the Advisory Board as well as the majority shareholder of HERO, Lenzburg (Switzerland). He is the Managing Director of Dr. Arend Oetker Holding GmbH & Co. KG, Berlin, a holding company in which his investments in trade and service companies are gathered.
