PEW Internet & American Life Project
The Pew Internet & American Life Project provides data reports about the impact of the internet on the american lifestyle. The topics cover trends in online acitivies & pursuits, demographics, Internet evolution, technology & media use, health and public policy, amongst others. The Internet evolution reports track changes in how Americans connect to the Internet and what activities they pursue online. A September survey with technology thinkers and stakeholders shows they believe the internet will continue to spread in a "flattening" and improving world. There are many, though, who think major problems will accompany technology advances by 2020. A predictions database can be viewed here.
