Places & Spaces at NY Library

Visiting New York last week I went to the Public Library - the places & spaces exhibition is awesome! Demonstrating the power of maps the exhibit has two components (physical and online). The online counterpart provides links to a selected series of maps and their makers. Today mankind's knowledge is stored in an exponentially increasing number of papers, books, email and so on - cartographic maps enable the discovery of new worlds. Without maps we would be lost.
