FON @ Hubert Burda Media
A week ago we organized a DLD06 follow up business brunch with the spanish entrepreneur Martin Varsavsky. Martin presented his new company FON to journalists and CEOs from different Hubert Burda Media profitcenters. He was accompanied by the new German FON Regional Manager Christiane zu Salm.
Four weeks ago Google, Skype, Index Ventures and Sequoia Capital invested $21million in FON. By now they are on the best way to become the largest WIFI community by the end of 2006.
