Internet experts Marissa Mayer (Google), Esther Dyson (CNET Networks), Martin Varsavsky (Fon) discussed the future trends in the online market. “In the near future Google will understand your needs even better” proclaimed Marissa Mayer, chief developer at Google. At the 2nd DLD 06 day she was rewarded with the first “Aenne Burda Award for Creative Leadership”. “There is one company which changes our world and that is Google. One person behind this success is Marissa Mayer. She is the queen of ideas”, explained Dr Hubert Burda.
Esther Dyson (Release 1.0) thinks, that the next ideas in the digital world will come from start-ups. Felix Petersen (plazes.com) or Dan Melinger (Socialight) would already have those breakthrough ideas. DLD patron Dr. Joseph Vardi brought the latest trends from Israel Eval Gever (Gizmoz), Noam Levavi (YCD Media), Oded Vardi (Superna) and Yanir Farber (Browzwear) presented their current projects.
