Getting there from the airport:
Munich International Airport is North of Munich. Driving from the airport to DLD takes approx. 50 minutes. Taking a taxi costs approx. €55 one way. You may also take the S-Bahn train (S8) to Marienplatz (approx. 50 minutes, €10 single journey - trains depart every 20 minutes). Marienplatz is within walking distance of DLD and also shown on the map below.
Getting there by train:
Several S-Bahn trains connect Munich Hauptbahnhof (main train station) with Marienplatz. Trains run any 3-4 minutes between those two stations and the journey takes approx. 5 minutes. Marienplatz is within walking distance of DLD.
Getting there by car:
As you approach Munich, follow any sign that takes you to the city center (Zentrum).
Note: DLD is located within the historic center of Munich. Parking space around DLD is very limited. Two public parking garages are within walking distance: Oper and Karlsplatz (Stachus), both at Altstadtring.
