Gerhard Florin
Gerhard Florin, Executive Vice President and General Manager for International Publishing, Electronic Arts Europe
Dr Florin was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager for International Publishing in September 2005. He oversees the company's publishing business in close to 40 locations across Europe, Asia-Pac, Japan, Latin America and Africa. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, European Publishing, a post he held since April 2003.
Formerly, Dr Florin served as Vice President, Managing Director for European countries from 2001-2003. Dr Florin joined EA in 1996 and was the Managing Director for German speaking countries. Prior to joining Electronic Arts, Dr. Florin held various positions at BMG, the global music division of Bertelsmann AG, and worked as a consultant with McKinsey and Co.
Dr Florin holds a PhD and Masters in Economics from the University of Augsburg, Germany.
