Georg Kofler, Chairman, Premiere
Starting in February 2002, Georg Kofler, 48, was first chairman of the management of Premiere, and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Premiere AG since it was converted into a joint-stock company in October 2004. Since Premiere AG went public on 9 March 2005, Georg Kofler has held a share of 13.9 per cent in the company. In the years 2000 to 2002, Dr. Kofler was Chairman of the Board of the HOT Networks AG, which runs the interactive television broadcasting company, Neun Live. From 1988 onwards, Dr. Kofler worked first as director and, later, as Chairman of the Board at the ProSieben Media AG, and took the company public in 1997. Dr. Kofler launched his career 1985 as personal adviser to the then-ORF Director, Gerd Bacher.
