Ernst Raue, Member of the Board, Deutsche Messe AG
Following training with a multinational corporation and studies in business economics, employment as Sales Director at a medium-sized enterprise. Joined Deutsche Messe AG (Hannover, Germany) in 1980, bearing responsibility for the organization and staging of leading international trade fairs such as HANNOVER MESSE and CeBIT. Served in a managerial capacity with power of attorney from 1990 to 2000, and also as Managing Director of various subsidiaries such as Hannover-Messe International GmbH and Deutsche Messe AG Beteilungs GmbH. Named Chairman of the Board of if Industrie Forum Design Hannover e.V. in 1995. Member of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG since 2000, with executive responsibility for the CeBIT Division, foreign trade fairs, and new business areas and services. President of the Hannover Marketing Club since 2001, and Vice-President of the German Marketing Association since 2003.
